Bolivian Border Crossing and Pueblo (Bermejo)

After travelling a few hours by bus from Salta I Arrive at Aguas Blancas. It has been interesting to see many fields and plantations and a few narcotic check points along the way. When you arrive at Aguas Blancas you get the feeling that things are different as if you are nearing a third world country. Check out the bus depot below!DSC05372 DSC05374 DSC05375

A man for a small fee throws you bags on a cart and pushes it up the road to the customs office, after you show your passports you go through a gate and walk towards the river to the boat that will take you to the other side to what what some call the armpit of Bolivia(Bremejo)DSC05376 DSC05378 DSC05380 DSC05379 DSC05381

Bags are out on the boat and you give the man your ticket which you buy at a check point walking to the river.
